Iron Maiden merupakan pioneer dari heavy metal di Inggris , grup yang bergenre Heavy metal yang di bentuk pada tahun 1975 di Leyton - East London , Inggris. yang didirikan oleh Steve harris bassis iron maiden, banyak bongkar pasang pada band heavy metal ini, seperti Dave Murray yang menggantikan Dave Sullivan , Paul Di anno tahun 1975-1976 ,
Terry Rance pada gitar tahun 1975-1976, dan Ron Matthews pada drum tahun 1975-1977 . sedangkan anggota personel yang sekarang adalah Bruce Dickinson pada vocal, Dave Murray pada gitar, Andrian smith pada gitar, Janick Gers pada gitar, Steve harris pada Bass, dan Nicko Mcbrain pada drum. kesuksesan mereka raih sejak tahun 1980 setelah ada beberapa perubahan personel tersebut.
